The conformation of the N—H and C=O bonds in the title compound, C(8)H(7)Cl(2)NO(3)S, is trans. The benzene ring and the SO(2)—NH—CO—C group form a dihedral angle of 79.75 (8)°. Molecules are connected via N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds to form linear supramolecular chains.
