In the molecule of the title compound, C(6)H(6)BrNO, the methyl C and oxide O atoms lie in the pyridine ring plane, while the Br atom is displaced by 0.103 (3) Å. In the crystal structure, intermolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into centrosymmetric dimers.
