The title compound, C(17)H(18)BrN(3)OS, is an important intermediate for the synthesis of biologically active heterocyclic compounds. The thiourea group is approximately planar. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular N—H⋯O hydrogen-bonding interactions.
