5,5′-Bis[(trimethylsilyl)methyl]-2,2′-bipyridine
The molecule of the title compound, C(18)H(28)N(2)Si(2), occupies a special position on an inversion centre. The Si—CH(2)—C(ipso) plane is approximately orthogonal to the plane of the pyridine rings, the corresponding dihedral angle being 82.0 (2)°.
