The title compound, C(19)H(20)N(4)O, crystallizes as twinned crystals containing two independent molecules which pack into a three-dimensional matrix via several C—H⋯N(cyano) interactions, with a C⋯N range of 3.324 (8)–3.568 (8) Å and C—H⋯N angles in the range 147–166°.
