In the crystal structure of the title compound, C(8)H(20)N(+)·C(4)H(5)O(6) (−)·2H(2)O, the ions and water molecules are linked via O—H⋯O and C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming a two-dimensional network parallel to (001).
