In the crystal structure of the title compound, {[Cu(C(8)H(6)O(9))(C(12)H(8)N(2))]·0.69H(2)O}(n), the Cu(II) atom has a distorted octahedral geometry, coordinated by four O atoms from two 3,4-dicarboxytetrahydrofuran-2,5-dicarboxylate ligands and two N atoms from one 1,10-phenanthroline ligand....
