Hormonal control of the renal conversion of 25-hydroxycholecalciferol to 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol

Isolated renal tubules from vitamin D-deficient chicks catalyse the in vitro conversion of 25-hydroxycholecalciferol to 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol.
