5,6-Dioxo-1,10-phenanthrolin-1-ium nitrate
In the title salt, C(12)H(7)N(2)O(2) (+)·NO(3) (−), the monoprotonated cation is connected to the nitrate anion by a hydrogen bond. Weak C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds hold the planar cations together in a layer structure.
