In the title compound, C(17)H(19)NO(2), the dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings is 26.02 (5)°. One phenol O atom is deprotonated and the N atom of the azomethine unit carries the H atom, forming an intramolecular hydrogen bond. The packing is stabilized by an O—H⋯O hydrogen bond.
