Paecilomyces lilacinus as the cause of chronic maxillary sinusitis.
Paecilomyces lilacinus was isolated on two separate occasions from the left antrum of a patient with chronic maxillary sinusitis. The clinical presentation and characteristics of the fungus and the sinus debris histopathology are discussed. IMAGES:
