Intravenous regional anaesthesia for lower limb orthopaedic surgery.
Intravenous regional anaesthesia in lower limb orthopaedic surgery has rarely been reported. A prospective series of 50 orthopaedic procedures performed with prilocaine is presented. In over 90% of patients excellent anaesthesia was obtained.
