Avascular (ischæmic) necrosis of the femoral head
The radiographic features of avascular necrosis of the femoral head are discussed. Three case presentations of dissimilar etiologies are presented which were diagnosed primarily through radiographic findings. The author explains the radiographic technique and follow up treatment for these patients.
