Mutagenic Action of N-Methyl-N′-Nitro-N-Nitrosoguanidine on Gaffkya tibisci at Alkaline pH
Good yields of mutants were obtained by incubating cells of Gaffkya tibisci with N-methyl-N′-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine in alkaline buffer. Nearly 50% of the survivors were auxotrophic mutants under the conditions described. IMAGES:
