Characterization of V-Prime Factors in Escherichia coli K-12
An episome derived from an Hfr(v) (Hfr isolated from a V colicinogenic parent) strain of Escherichia coli K-12 was isolated and characterized. The direction of gene transfer was inverted from that in the original parental strain.
