Ultrastructural localization of Thermoplasma acidophilum surface carbohydrate by using concanavalin A.

Surface carbohydrate, presumably the lipopolysaccharide, of Thermoplasma acidophilum was visualized by means of the concanavalin A, horseradish peroxidase, and diaminobenzidine cytochemical staining procedure. IMAGES:
