Liability for Financial Loss Resulting from Malfunction of Computer Software
Computer software errors can be expected to cause financial loss to health care institutions and their patients with potential future changes in cost reimbursement mechanisms. This paper addresses legal theories of responsibility which might be applicable in litigation to recover these losses.
