Molecular cloning of the 5-aminolevulinic acid dehydratase gene from Rhodobacter sphaeroides.
A hemB mutant of Escherichia coli was used to clone the gene encoding 5-aminolevulinic acid dehydratase from Rhodobacter sphaeroides after physiological complementation of the mutation.
