The Chemical Basis of the Virulence of Brucella abortus: IX. The Increased Immunogenicity of Br. abortus Grown in Media which Enhance its Ability for Survival Within Bovine Phagocytes
The immunogenicity of Br abortus for mice was increased by incorporating 20 per cent allantoic fluid in 2 media commonly used to grow Br. abortus. Previously it had been shown that growth in such supplemented media conferred on Br. abortus an increased capacity to survive within bovine phagocytes.
