Fifty-seven patients with metastatic melanoma were treated with interleukin 2 (IL-2) 7.8 MIU m-2 day-1 as a continuous infusion for 4 days combined with interferon alpha (IFN-alpha) 6 MIU m-2 day-1 subcutaneously on days 1 and 4.
