Effect of cellulose sulphate on serum complement
Cellulose sulphate 50-600 μg/ml reduces complement titres in human serum. This effect is, in contrast to the clot-promoting and plasma kinin forming action of cellulose sulphate, not mediated by clotting factor XII.
