First characterization of inhibitor-resistant TEM (IRT) beta-lactamases in Klebsiella pneumoniae strains.
Two clinical strains of Klebsiella pneumoniae, TP 01 and TP 02, presented resistance to amoxicillin-clavulanate and were fully susceptible to cephalothin.
