The persistence of tissue-specific antigen in muscle cells growing in vitro
Muscle-specific antigen is retained for prolonged periods in chick and murine muscle cell cultures re-fed to delay de-differentation; on repeated sub-culture tissue-specific antigen persists, but only in cells having morphologically identifiable characteristics of muscle cells.
