Antibody Production in Milk Serum After Virus Instillation of Goat Mammary Gland III. Response to Herpes simplex Virus
Three attempts were made to propagate HERPES SIMPLEX virus in the mammary gland of goats. No active virus resulted. In one instance a marked clinical response was induced in the portion which had been instilled. Repeated instillations induced the synthesis of neutralizing antibody.
