Insidious bilateral infrapatellar tendon rupture in a patient with systemic lupus erythematosus.

A patient with systemic lupus erythematosus developed insidious bilateral infrapatellar tendon rupture initially diagnosed as steroid myopathy. Simultaneous loss of extension at the knee due to quadriceps or infrapatellar tendon ruptures is reviewed. IMAGES:
