A poética carnavalesca de Chico Buarque de Hollanda
The present article intends to analyse how Chico Buarque de Hollanda faces carnival in his lyrics where the school of samba scenery prevails and happiness is not in the center of interest. The composer uses carnival predominantly as reference of liberty, insanity, disillusion and time swiftness.
