A contribution to the research of the wall paintings at the white Church of Karan. The thematic program of the frescoes in the calotte
The paper considers some characteristics of the wall paintings in the dome of the Virgin’s Church of Karan that have not been discussed so far. It identifies some biblical personages in the lower part of the dome cap and brings all inscriptions that have survived in it.
