TREKKING TO THE FOOT OF CHOMOLUNGMA (GEOLOGICAL EXCURSION IN HIGH HIMALAYA)
The article deals with geological structure of the High Himalaya in traditional trekking route Lukla - base camp Chomolungma. The route crosses the sequence оf the highly metamorphosed rocks formed during the collision of the Indian and Tibetan plates.
