多维数据建模的设计方法
多维数据的建模是企业使用数据仓库的关键技术之一,传统的数据模型(如实体模型和关系模型)不能有效地表示数据仓库中的数据结构和语义,也难以支持OLAP应用.本文提出了多维数据建模的一种优化方法-变粒度建模,并介绍用Essbase开发工具实现多维数据建模的过程.通过实验表明,该优化方法能有效提高OLAP响应速度和数据仓库性能.
