ON THE ROLE OF FORENSIC SCIENCE IN THE MECHANISM OF PROTECTING HUMAN AND CITIZEN RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The author examines the mechanism of protecting human and citizen rights and freedoms in the Russian Federation, and outlines the role of forensic science in each element of the said mechanism. A proposition is made for eliminating corresponding gaps in current legislation.
