In the title compound, [Zn(C8H5NO5)(H2O)5]·H2O, the ZnII atom is coordinated by one O atom from the 2-(5-carboxylato-2-oxidopyridinium-1-yl)acetate ligand and by five water molecules, forming a distorted octahedral geometry. Coordinated and uncoordinated water molecules form O—H.....
