Le bouddhisme dispose de seize enfers principaux, huit brulants, huit glacés. En ajoutant les enfers annexes on arrive à 272 enfers. L’islam prévoit qu’au jugement dernier, les hommes se répartiront en compagnons de la droite et en compagnons de la gauche. Ceux-ci, les réprouvés, auront pour séjour...
