Il nous paraissait inconcevable de consacrer un numéro à la musique nord-américaine — voir notre précédent numéro — dont la figure « fondatrice » de Charles Ives serait absente ; mais on ne pouvait lui accorder un ou deux articles seulement, alors que la bibliographie française ne dispose d' aucune...
