Combining Magnetics and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) for the Investigation of Cooking Pits in Schwissel, Germany
Cooking pits are clearly visible in magnetic maps. Modelling of the anomalies provides a 3D localization and magnetic properties of the pits. Depth of pits determined from GPR are comparable to magnetic modelling.
