Platelets as pivot in the antiphospholipid syndrome
In this issue of Blood, Proulle et al demonstrate that platelets are essential for the prothrombotic effects of anti–β(2)-glycoprotein I autoantibodies in a mouse model of the antiphospholipid syndrome (APS).(1)
