Bis{μ-1,3-bis[(benzimidazol-1-yl)methyl]benzene-κ(2) N (3):N (3′)}bis[dichloridozinc(II)] dimethylformamide disolvate
In the title compound, [Zn(2)Cl(4)(C(22)H(18)N(4))(2)]·2C(3)H(7)NO, the 1,3-bis[(benzimidazol-1-yl)methyl]benzene ligand bridges two ZnCl(2) units, forming a centrosymmetric dinuclear molecule. The Zn(II) atom shows a distorted tetrahedral coordination within a Cl(2)N(2) donor set.
